Happy Independence Day & Happy Weekend!
The atmosphere here is obviously not as merry as back home because:
1. Malaysia's National Day has nothing to do with Indians.
2. We, Malaysians do not get any public holiday.
3. Comparatively we are not as patriotic as Indians.
Besides these reasons, it's because our holidays are coming to an end. Two weeks just flew like that, i was just sending my friends off the other day and now they're back. Everyone's on the jetlack plus mondays blue mood because class is starting tomorrow. It's alright as i guess everyone's excited to meet up with each other again.
Today's not only our national day but it's our friends' birthday! We have Juliana and Cai Shan born on the same day, month and year. And Dashni who's one year younger. As i was quite free during the holidays, i made a card for Dashni.
Thats my new room behind. I went through a lot of hardwork and determination to fight for this room. It's all worthwhile as finally i can call my room a ROOM. A spacious room with big study table, comfortable bed, soft pillows, big washroom, cooling and roomy feeling. I had a good sleep during the first night without any dreams. Arhh... more of these nights to come~

{Hate the education system here. Can't they give a longer holiday? Why are they so stingy with holidays? If a developed country can produce better scholars even with a 3 months summer break, i don't see how a 2 months break can affect in anyway.} Reason no. 278 i dislike this place...
