It's been a tiring week as the opening ceremony of PIDC Cup is this Saturday so we're all busy practising our cheer. I'm in the blue team named Blue Shark, i thought it sounded lame, sorry to say but it is true. I actually went online to search for a few other names and submitted them to my team leader and all i got was, 'Oh what was the name u suggested, i forgot...' Fine.. i couldn't be bothered.
Since the moment we were sorted into our teams, everyone sort of knew which team is meant to win and lose. Unfortunately, my team is obviously the weakest contender among the 4 teams. But so what.. does it mean that we can just quit and pull out of the game.. no right.. but people especially the guys in our team are so pessimistic and have surrendered half the game before it even started. If we don't look up at ourselves then how can other teams respect us. Can see that during cheer leading where there are guys who doesn't even open their mouth to shout. Then why call it cheer, call it mourn instead.
Sports for the girls team are going strong currently but for the guys, things arent going so well. Whatever it is, we must give it a 100% even if we lose at the end, we still gave our best. But if we don't even try to reach out, we'll never ever be there. If we don't contribute to the team then we'll never taste the fruit of success as a team. Miss the days in rural service where we all work as one and achieve as one. The feeling of teamwork where a group of people work hard together towards the same goal and finally achieve it gives a sense of satisfactory which one can't do it by him/herself.
At the end of the day, we all just want to enjoy ourselves so i hope that on the day we will all put up a good show and not waste our afford training for so long. We are far from being a united team but all we can do now is play our individual part and try to get as many gold as possible for the team.

yup i really feel tat our team is far away from united.. i dun noe it is bcoz our team is the weakest among all the team caused this or wat... but i really hope even v r the last, v stil can enjoy ourselve as a team... enjoy the whole pidc cup thing... even thought jz few of us doing the things but i feel glad to hav u all as my team mates... go blue sharks!!!!
yup u're right.. the purpose of pidc cup is to enjoy ourselves.. shouldnt have it making us more unhappy.. i'm gonna enjoy my game tomorrow =)
