Their presence have made some difference in my life, although til now it's just a short period of time. But quantity does not always determine quality, right? What i meant is that whether a friendship is genuine does not depend on the amount of years of friendship.
Sometimes i feel as our age increases, we tend to be more protective and less flexible in sharing our inner emotions. Remember in school days, i used to tell my friends we would be bff (best friends forever), but nowadays i don't hear these words anymore. Is it because the word is childish or is it because no one have the courage to say it because they dare not treat others with the same sincerity they used to have. But no one is to be blamed, maybe the monsterous world out there prohibit us from doing it, as self-defense or survivor. The least we could do is if we were to put aside some prejudice and individualism, prolly the world would be a better place.
Well, I'm still thankful that i've met them. Although we haven't known each other for long but i appreciate their initiatives of taking our friendship a step deeper. I've also learned to be more appreciative to my family, friends... To see things further than just myself.
Each one of them is unique in their own ways: some with lots of attitute, some are funny as hell and some who has strong charisma. Being with them is not just about having fun and past time but from them i learn to be a better person, to develop some qualities they have that i don't (sounds like magic). Anyways, i always enjoy laughing and talking, potluck-ing and watching movies with them because that really adds spice and colours to my life. Without them, i would have been drown in boredom.
